My friend John Fresques and I drove to Durango during the summer of 1959 to photograph an excursion train that was sponsered by the Rocky Mountain Railroad club. The last photo on the right was taken of D&RGW's standard-gauge train "The Yampa Valley Mail" entering the Denver Union Station from its trip from Craig and Steamboat Springs. I rode this train two or three different times when I attended a school in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
