This little church has an original organ (English) built by the great French organ builder Aristide Cavaillé Coll. The organ of Saint-Maurice was initially built in 1865 by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll et Cie (Paris for the private chapel of Marquis Ernest-Marie-Charles de Lambertye in Gerbéviller (Meurthe-et-Moselle). It was transferred to this church, located in the town center of Courbevoie (English), 2 kilometres from the outer limits of Paris and 8.2 km. (5.1 miles) from the center of Paris.
I was fortunate to be invited by the organist and expert Kurt Leuders to a talk that he gave on the organ works of French composer Clément Loret at the church and was invited to stay for the mass.
