When I first arrived in Richmond, Virgina in 1995, I discovered this fantastic store and it's fantastic proprietor and my good friend, Barksdale Haggins, better known as "Barky," Over the next 4 years, while I was living in Richmond, I discovered lots of music in his store, and met many wonderful people associated with the world that surrounds African-American Gospel Music. Barky's store is located in downtown richmond.
