I moved to the South-eastern part of the United States, better known as "The South," in 1995, to study and experience the music and to met and learn more about the people who live "down here." Mary Ellen joined me a year and a half later.

Don Robertson and the Mauldin Brothers at the Crossroads

Don with Mississippi native brothers Draper and Douglas Mauldin in 2010 at the legendary crossroads of Highway 49 and Highway 61 ("The Blues Highway") in Clarksdale, Mississippi, known to all lovers of blues music. Abe's Restaurant has been cooking BBQ since 1924.
